Site Issues Options

I know some people are having random issues with loading the site. Apparently our host is experiencing some ISP problems and they are trying to work them out. Meantime, I am doing all that I can to keep the site up and I apologize for the aggravation. Hopefully this will be fully resolved in the very near future, else I will take steps to get us hosted elsewhere.

If you cannot get the site to load, give it a minute and try again. Most of the outages seem to last 5 minutes or less, but the one this morning lasted a couple of hours. I just wanted to let you guys know that everything is ok, it's a host issue, not an issue with the site or a security concern. Thanks for your understanding.

I just got in after a few attempts. It appears to be a redirect issue. When I tried to connect it was trying to hit www.kurtbuschfan.org not www.kurtbuschfans.org (plural)

Had trouble this morning. Kept taking me to live search for www.kurtbuschfan.org.
Seems to be working fine now though.

It worked fine for me this AM. If it had not been brought to my attention I doubt I would have even known it was down. It seemed to down for a very short time. It's been working flawlessly for several hours now.

Would those of you having trouble with the redirect check if your bookmark is KurtBuschfan.COM or KurtBuschFans.ORG.... note the S and Org on second address. We own both addresses and both should work, but on occasion the first one has had problems directing to the forum.

If your bookmark is for the .com address, please update it to the .org one.

Doesn't matter, the redirect is working fine as long as the host isn't having issues. Apparently their DNS servers are being affected by this ISP issue and that is why the redirect appears to not work sometimes.

If their DNS server goes offline, it will take it a few minutes to re-propogate after it comes back, so it doesn't know where to direct anything on their IP's. As soon as it re-propogates, that's when everything goes back to working like normal.

Still, remember to try all of the domains in the even that one doesn't work. One of the others MIGHT, although I doubt it.

I haven't had any issues at all except that the bookmark that used to take me straight to the forum now goes to the home page.
