As long as this season has seemed, and as bored as many of us have been with the racing this year, it's still kind of a sad thing that this will be our final race chat for the next few months. I hope all of the regulars will be there, and I hope some of you quiet shy people will join us for what will likely be yet another crazy chat. I can almost guarantee at least half of us will be drunk and goofy, so we should be able to offer you some entertainment
I'll try and come up with some events during the offseason to encourage some chats, we'll see what happens. Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you to all of the regular chatters for a season of extremely memorable, crazy, funny, and fun chats. I can't tell you how much fun you've all made the races, and I hope you are all back for next seasons chats. For all of you that haven't made it to a chat yet, feel free to join us, and prepare to laugh yourself sick.

I will be performing some site maintenance tonight after midnight CST so if you cannot access the site or have any problems, just try again a little later.
Nothing major planned, I've just noticed that the site has been slowing down some and I am going to try and clean some things up and streamline some code which will hopefully speed things up and provide a better experience for everyone. For those that have not heard, Joey and Karen have resigned from the souvenir rig, effective 9/14/07.
Thank you Joey and Karen for all of the wonderful years! While we will all sorely miss you each weekend, we hope that your decision makes you both much happier. Thank you for all of your hard work, thank you for being great friends to Kurt's fans, and thank you for being awesome friends of the KBF basket program. I think most everyone here looked forward to seeing you guys on race weekend, and I know that some of us were a little too shy to spend much time talking with you (myself included), but we all enjoyed our experiences with you more than you might think.
For being such great people, and such great friends to all of us, I certainly hope that you will both accept our invitation to join us here and continue the long standing relationships that some of our members have formed with you. Good luck to you both, we hope you are both very happy where ever you end up and whatever you do!
